A long table, lit end to end

The Lisonne Brass Crystal Fringe Linear Chandelier sets a row of crowned brass shades along a long crystal-fringed frame, topped by two scrolled brass sprays hung with crystal pendants.

Tiers of clear K-9 crystal prisms fall from every crown and along the body, so the full length sparkles once the lights come on.

Choose your length

Sized to your table

A linear chandelier looks right when it runs about half to two-thirds the length of the table below it, leaving open space at each end. Both sizes share the same 65 cm / 25.6" width and 75 cm / 29.5" height.

The 120 cm version with 13 lights, sized for a table seating six to eight.

120 cm / 47.2"

13 lights, E12/E14

Suits tables about 72" to 96" long, seating six to eight. A natural fit over a kitchen island of the same range.

The 160 cm version with 15 lights, sized for a table seating eight to twelve.

160 cm / 63"

15 lights, E12/E14

Suits tables about 96" to 126" long, seating eight to twelve. Holds its own in a larger dining room or a long open-plan space.

Between two sizes? Measure the tabletop and keep at least 6" of table showing past each end of the fixture.

The crowns

Every light wears a brass crown

Each candle sits inside a pierced brass crown, and each crown carries its own tier of crystal fringe. Lined up along the frame, they read as one continuous band of brass and light rather than a row of separate lamps.

  • Tiered K-9 prisms hang from every crown and along the body
  • Candelabra sockets take E12/E14 bulbs, sold separately

Two brass sprays rise from the frame in curling leaves, each hung with crystal pendants, giving the long body a lift at its centre. Below, clear K-9 prisms fall in layered rows, so the fixture looks full from the table and from across the room.

Crystal chandeliers can look alike online. Up close, the density of the prisms and the clarity of the cut are what set them apart.

Hanging it

Set the height first

  1. Center it on the table, not the room, so the length lines up with the seats.
  2. Plan 30" to 36" from the tabletop to the lowest crystals, then set the chain to match.
  3. Have a licensed electrician hardwire the fixture to a ceiling box rated for its weight.
  4. Fit E12/E14 bulbs after hanging; 3000K warm white keeps the brass and crystal glowing.

Keeping it bright

Crystal that stays clear

  1. Switch off and let the bulbs cool before touching the fixture.
  2. Wipe the prisms with a soft, lint-free cloth, or a cloth lightly dampened with water.
  3. Dust the brass with a dry cloth; skip abrasive or ammonia cleaners.
  4. Dry each prism fully before switching back on to avoid water spots.

Before you order

Which size is right for my dining table?

Aim for a fixture about half to two-thirds the length of the tabletop. The 120 cm / 47.2" size suits tables of roughly 72" to 96", and the 160 cm / 63" size suits tables of roughly 96" to 126". Leave at least 6" of table showing past each end of the chandelier so it does not overhang the seats.

How high above the table should it hang?

The usual range is 30" to 36" from the tabletop to the lowest crystals. The body is 75 cm / 29.5" tall and the adjustable 50 cm / 19.7" chain lets you set the drop, so the fixture works on ceilings of 8 ft and above. On an 8 ft ceiling it sits close to the top of that range with the chain at its shortest.

What bulbs does it use, and are they included?

It takes E12/E14 candelabra bulbs: 13 for the 120 cm size and 15 for the 160 cm size. Bulbs are not included and are purchased separately. A 3000K warm white bulb suits the brass and clear crystal best, and clear candle-shaped bulbs keep the look closest to the photos.

Is the crystal real glass?

Yes. The prisms and pendants are clear K-9 crystal, an optical glass valued for its clarity and its ability to split light into small flashes of colour. It does not yellow over time the way acrylic can.

Can it hang over a kitchen island?

Yes. The 120 cm / 47.2" size suits most islands of 6 to 8 ft, and one linear fixture often looks cleaner than a row of separate pendants. Keep the same 30" to 36" clearance above the countertop so it stays clear of sight lines.

Do I need an electrician to install it?

Yes. This is a hardwired ceiling fixture, so it should be installed by a licensed electrician to a ceiling box that can carry its weight. The electrician can also set the chain length on site to get the height right over your table.
