A closer look

Made to be seen up close

Every fixture we make is built to hold attention at arm's length as well as from across the room. Below are the details worth noticing on this one.

Design notes

Three details worth a closer look

What separates this one from a standard brass chandelier.

01
Natural Alabaster

Natural Alabaster

Every shade is cut from quarried stone, so the veining, tone, and translucency shift from piece to piece and no two fixtures light up quite the same.

02
Masterful Hand-Finishing

Masterful Hand-Finishing

Deep, hand-carved fluting creates a stunning interplay of light and shadow, revealing the stone's translucent soul when illuminated.

03
Timeless Ambiance

Timeless Ambiance

Casts a soft, inviting glow that elevates your interior, creating a serene and sophisticated atmosphere in any room.

02

Craftsmanship

Alabaster is quarried, not made —
every block arrives with its own veining.

Real Alabaster, Cut Not Cast

Most fixtures sold as alabaster are resin or frosted acrylic cast to imitate it — the veining is printed into the mould, and every unit comes out identical.

We cut ours from quarried blocks. The stone is sawn, hollowed, shaped and polished as itself, and the pattern you see is the geology of that particular piece.

That decision changes everything downstream.

NATURAL ORIGIN

The Stone's Own Light

The surface is the Alabaster itself.

No wax, no lacquer, no sealing coat. Many stone-look shades rely on a film to produce the glow — ours does not, so the warmth comes from the material rather than from something applied over it.

01

Select

Every block is held against a lamp; only stone that passes light evenly goes forward.

02

Cut

Sawn down to rough blanks, sized to the piece.

03

Sand

Wet-sanded through successive grits until the surface runs smooth to the touch.

04

Wash

Rinsed and dried, so no grit is left sitting in the veining.
