Unlit it reads as pale stone. Lit, the veins come forward and the whole surface turns warm.

Most shades block the light and let it out at the rim. Alabaster does not work that way: switch it on and the whole surface lifts at once, veining included. There is nothing to squint at from any seat in the room.

Pearl Necklace Chandelier

The Pearl Necklace Chandelier strings frosted glass pearls on solid brass connectors, so the whole fixture hangs like a necklace draped across your ceiling. An integrated LED inside the strand lights every pearl from within with a warm 3000K glow that stays soft to look at.

The materials

Glass you can look at, brass you can feel

Frosted glass pearls

Each pearl is blown glass with a fine frosted surface. The frosting spreads the LED light across the whole sphere, so you see a round, even glow instead of a bright dot, and the glass keeps its clean white color over the years.

Solid brass connectors

The pearls are joined by machined brass links rather than painted steel. Brass has real weight, holds the strand in a smooth curve, and ages to a soft warm tone instead of chipping.

Light inside every pearl

An integrated LED runs the full length of the strand, so every pearl glows at the same warm 3000K. There are no bulbs to buy or change, and the whole fixture draws a maximum of 25W.

Single swag

One strand, one gentle curve between two ceiling points. The quietest look, and the one most people choose over a dining table or kitchen island.

Double swag

Two strands, each hung from its own pair of ceiling points, set side by side so the curves overlap. It spreads light across a wider room, such as a living area over a sofa.

2 chains, 14 + 18 or 18 + 23 pearls

Nested swag

A long, deep strand hangs around a short, shallow one so the curves sit inside each other. It gives a foyer or a round table real depth from every angle.

Tall drape

A long strand hung from two points high overhead drops into one deep curve through a double-height entry or stairwell. This is where the 32 and 55 pearl lengths belong.

Before you install

How high to hang it

Plan the curve from the lowest pearl down. These are the heights US designers work to.

Over a dining table or island, keep the lowest pearl 30 to 36 in above the surface.
Where people walk underneath, leave at least 7 ft between the floor and the lowest pearl.
The fixture is hardwired to a ceiling junction box; we recommend a licensed electrician and two people to place the strands.
Each canopy needs its own secure fixing point, so mark all points before you drill.

How it is made

From molten glass and solid brass

Four steps turn raw glass and brass bar into a strand of light.

02 Frosted for an even glowA fine matte finish spreads the LED light across the whole pearl instead of one bright spot.

Care and cleaning

Keep every pearl glowing

Power off first

Switch off at the wall and let the pearls cool for a few minutes before you touch them.

Glass pearls

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For fingerprints, use a cloth barely damp with water and dry the glass right away.

Brass parts

Wipe with a dry cloth only. Skip metal polish and chemical sprays, which can dull the finish and cloud the glass.

How often

A light dusting every few weeks keeps the glow even. Never spray liquid onto the canopies or connectors.

Which size should I choose?

Go by the space: 14 pearls for a bedroom, 18 over a dining table, 23 across a living room, 32 over a long table, and 55 for a two-story foyer or stairwell.

How high should it hang over a table?

Keep the lowest pearl 30 to 36 in above the tabletop or counter.

Can I dim it?

The standard version uses a push-button switch and is not dimmable. Contact us before ordering if you need a dimmable driver.

Do I need an electrician?

Yes, it is hardwired to a ceiling junction box, so we recommend a licensed electrician.

Can I get a longer cord or a custom layout?

Yes. The standard wire is 150 cm / 59 in, and we can extend it or change pearl counts on request.
