A closer look

Made to be seen up close

Every fixture we make is built to hold attention at arm's length as well as from across the room. Below are the details worth noticing on this one.

Design notes

Three details worth a closer look

What separates this one from a standard brass chandelier.

01
Pink Glass, Warmed From Within

Pink Glass, Warmed From Within

The colour is in the glass itself, so light leaves each tube softened and rose-toned rather than white light passing through a tinted film — warm enough to flatter a room, clear enough not to go muddy.

02
Layered Rings, Not a Flat Ring

Layered Rings, Not a Flat Ring

The tubes sit in overlapping tiers at shifting angles rather than in a single plane, which gives the piece real depth from directly below and a full rounded outline from across the room.

03
It Hugs the Ceiling

It Hugs the Ceiling

Mounted flush with no rod or chain, it delivers a chandelier's presence in a bedroom, hallway or entry with a standard eight-foot ceiling — nothing hanging into head height.

A room reads as designed when the pieces share a finish. Start here.

The Glass

Thicker glass, deeper color —
and it shows the moment it's lit.

Why Handblown, and Not Pressed

Pressed glass is stamped in a mold: uniform, thin, and flat once the light is behind it. Handblown glass carries a slight variation in thickness, and that variation is what gives the glow depth instead of a single even wash.

Color goes into the melt rather than onto the surface, so it runs the full thickness of the wall — it can't chip, fade, or wear off at the rim.

It costs more and takes longer. It also looks like nothing else in the room.

Star Tube

A ceiling of amber columns

Ribbed tubes hung in tiers, each one catching the filament down its full length. Amber glass turns the whole fixture into a warm mass against a white ceiling — it holds a large room without needing a large fixture footprint.
