The Akari 80A Pendant Light by Vitra is a stunning display of sculptor Isamu Noguchi's modernist take on Japanese paper lanterns. The original designs were created in 1951, when Noguchi was in Gifu, Japan and found inspiration in the lanterns used by fishermen for night fishing on the Nagara River. This well-known collection comprises of a wide range of lightweight table, floor and pendant lights available in various sizes and shapes.
